Cut-offs & Late Starts: Late starts will not be allowed beyond 15 minutes after the posted start time. If you start late, you run the risk of not receiving an accurate race time. We do not anticipate having to cut anyone off on course as our time requirements are generous. While we do not enforce specific cut-off for, there are times in which the Duluth Police Department reopens roads and volunteers are finished with their shifts. At 11:00am, the Duluth PD will begin reopening roads and there will no longer be barricades, police presence, or volunteers at positions along the course. This allows for all participants at a pace of 21 minutes per mile and faster to finish before or at 11:00am. At 11:00am, all athletes that remain on the course must obey all usual traffic rules and regulations while following the Lakewalk toward the finish at Leif Erickson Park.
Headphones & Ear Buds: We highly discourage headphone and ear bud use during this event to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Strollers: We are family friendly and want our events to be accessible to parents with little ones. We allow strollers in our events but ask that you start the race at the back of the race corral to ensure the safety of all participants.
Pets: We do not allow pets of any kind at our events or on the race course. This is for the safety of all participants and all of our animal friends. For participants with service animals, please reach out to race staff directly through our contact link so we can ensure your, and your service animal's safety as well as communicate expectations with our events team on race day. Please review our event policies (linked above) in their entirety so we all have the same expectations come race day. We created and enforce these policies to provide the best experience for all participants and appreciate your time and effort in reviewing and following them. Thank you!
